  1. This spreadsheet is a simple example of how to do an amortization
  2. schedule using the Psion spreadsheet.  Given the user-supplied data at the
  3. top of the spreadsheet (loan amount, term and interest), we calculate the
  4. monthly payment required.  In the second section, we calculate up to 24
  5. months of payments, breaking out the interest and principle components. 
  6. Additional principle amounts can be entered in this section, and the rest
  7. of the schedule will adjust accordingly.

  9. Additional months of payments can be added by copying and adding lines to
  10. the bottom of the second section.  (Note that I didn't make the payment
  11. number a formula:  you'll have to adjust the payment number by hand.
